Title: Predictors of Student Success in General Chemistry
Developed under the guidance of Dr. Lin Coker , Chemistry

This research tried to determine if there are any predictors to a student’s success in General Chemistry based off their performance in high school and Preparatory Chemistry. Multiple variables, such as SAT scores and G.P.A., were considered when trying to predict a student’s potential success in both courses. These factors were used in goal of studying how effective Preparatory Chemistry is at preparing students for General Chemistry.
