Due to inclement weather, Wiggins Memorial Library will be closing at 6pm tonight (1/21/2025). The 2nd floor Overnight Study will remain available via card swipe access. Laptop and Tablet Policy

Loan Period and Renewal

Laptops and tablets are loaned for 24 hours at a time and may be renewed once. After one renewal, the item must be returned.

Overdue Fines

If the item is renewed or returned late, the user will be charged $5.00 per day, up to a maximum of $50.00.

Loss, Theft, or Damage

The user is responsible for the item while it is checked out to them. If the item is lost, stolen, or returned with significant damage, the user will be charged the replacement cost of the item and a $10.00 processing fee, in addition to any overdue fines.

Chargers

Chargers follow the same lending period as laptops and tablets but have unique overdue fines and lost item fees. Chargers accrue $0.25/day in overdue fines. If a charger is lost, the user will be charged the replacement cost of the item and a $10.00 processing fee, in addition to any overdue fines.
