The library offers personalized research assistance for faculty projects, including executing
searches, creating research strategies, and locating hard-to-find sources.
An opportunity to share your research with the Campbell community, Faculty Lightning Talks are
informal, fast-paced presentations held once a semester in the library's Periodicals Reading Room.
A number of carrels are available in the Faculty Study on the third floor of Wiggins Hall to
facilitate faculty research and publication projects. Assignment is on a first come, first served
basis, with the duration of assignment based on faculty need and demand.
Pivot is a research funding database that allows you to create your own profile, which will be
used to find funding opportunities that match your expertise and research interests. It also
enables you to collaborate with colleagues and organize your own searches for grants and other funding.
CU FIND is an online
faculty
profile system
that showcases Campbell University members’ achievements in research, teaching, and professional service.
Each profile provides space to cite or link to one’s research, highlight teaching accomplishments,
list service commitments, and provide basic information such as a professional biography, grants,
and degrees. CU FIND also serves as an institutional repository to preserve and provide access
to Campbell University’s intellectual output. The repository currently hosts more than 3,500 articles,
presentations, and abstracts. Together, these services showcase the breadth of Campbell University's
scholarly work.
