The Curriculum Materials/Media Center's 3D printer is available to Campbell University
students, faculty and staff to make three-dimensional objects in plastic using a design
that is uploaded from a digital computer file.
The Curriculum Materials/Media Center's 3D printer may be used only for lawful purposes.
No one will be permitted to use the library's 3D printer to create material that is:
Prohibited by local, state or federal law.
Unsafe, harmful, dangerous or poses an immediate threat to the well-being of others.
(Such use may violate the terms of use of the manufacturer.)
Obscene or otherwise inappropriate for the Library environment.
In violation of another's intellectual property rights. For example, the printer
will not be used to reproduce material subject to copyright, patent or trademark
protection.
Cost: 3D printing is currently free
The 3D printers are located in the Makerspace on the third floor of Wiggins Memorial
Library, located within the Idea Lab. The space is available by reservation only.
At the time of your appointment, please go to the Library Services Desk (Wiggins Library 1st floor)
and ask a staff member to bring you to the 3rd floor Makerspace.
